Infant Development Program
Making the First Three Years Count
Love, Security & the Opportunity to Grow
The primary goal of Infant Development, sometimes referred to as Early Intervention, is to assist families in their everyday routines and develop strategies to help elicit and target skills that the family feels are the most important.
Research has shown that children under 3 respond best to intervention when it occurs in their natural environment with their primary caregivers. Thus, all services (PT, OT, SLP, ECSE) are provided in the child’s home, daycare, or familiar places in the community at no cost to the family. It is the Interventionist’s job to coach and share information with the families that can empower caregivers to feel confident in their ability to help their child reach their goals.
